THORscope MC
The THORscope MC combines a digital movie camera, precision optics and LED lighting in a microscope that fits in the palm of your hand. The THORscope MC has 40 - 140X magnification which lets you zoom in on the fine details of insects, faecal deposits, termite workings or anything else too small to see with the naked eye.
Rather than looking through a small eyepiece, images are displayed clearly on a computer screen by placing the THORScope over the object. The THORscope MC connects to your laptop or desktop computer’s USB port and captures images or even movies. The included Video ToolBox imaging software allows you to easily add labels, make measurements and draw on the live image.

THORscope MP2
The THORscope MP2 takes the compact design of the THORscope MC and makes it better. With a larger field of view (up to 25 mm), the THORscope MP2 provides a greater range of 12 - 140x magnification. The high resolution optics and 2 megapixel camera produce improved image quality, with resolution down to below 2 microns. THORscope MP2 Megapixel 2 includes a switch to turn off the built-in LED lights. With the lights off, the THORscope MP2 can be used on a light table, or with external lights for advanced lighting techniques.
The THORscope MP2 includes Video ToolBox PRO software, which adds enhanced measurement tools, a live on-screen reticle (or grid), and picture-in-picture freeze frame. It still allows you to capture still or moving images. You can also add labels, markers, time stamps, or draw on and make measurements directly on the live image.

THORscope SC
The THORscope SC digital microscope is ready to use anywhere, anytime you need it. With a built-in LCD screen, you don’t need a computer to view the highly magnified images and movies the MicroCam will capture.
Featuring a 5 megapixel camera, 6 LED lights, 3 — 100X zoom lens and rechargeable batteries the THORscope SC folds flat and fits in a compact case when travelling. The THORscope SC sets up in just seconds to view your sample on the built-in LCD screen. You can choose to simply view a specimen using the adjustable brightness LEDs and zoom control or capture the image or movie directly to a standard SD memory card by simply touching the camera button and. Captured images can be reviewed directly on the THORscope SC or connect to a PC and download the images to view on your computer.
