DROWNING CREEK

These photos were taken on property owned by The Pines of Carolina Girl Scout Council. It is near the Richmond-Moore County line west of Highway 1, about 4 ½ miles upstream from the Southern Pines water intake.

If you'd like to see more pictures of flora in the area (including pitcher plants!) scroll down. If you don't have a fast Internet connection, please be patient. We have added photos to the web site that are larger and more detailed than usual to give you a better feel of being on Drowning Creek.
